Hector Fallas has experience both as a civil servant and as an attorney in the private sector. He began his professional career with the National Consumer Commission of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce, where he handled countless disciplinary procedures. He is very experienced not only in matters related to consumer protection, but in matters related to compliance and verification of technical standards. He was a Legal Adviser at the Constitutional Court for several years, and successfully handled remedies of amparo, habeas corpus appeals and unconstitutionality actions.
In 2002, he began his career as a practicing attorney at the Nuñez, Pino & Rojas firm (currently NCC Law Firm) and became partner in 2004.
During his private practice, he has specialized in corporate affairs for diverse types of companies, as well as in the personalized advising of foreign clients who have decided to develop their businesses in Costa Rica. His professional and personal skills have given added value to our clients who have found him to be experienced, dynamic and loyal.
He also has ample experience with issues related to labor and employment law, national and international contracts and the negotiation and implementation of international franchises in Costa Rica.
He has had extensive involvement in mergers and acquisitions of transnational companies in which he has teamed up with international law firms.
He has actively participated in the formalization of credits for workers associations and government institutions and is an expert in the design, creation and implementation of corporate structures in Costa Rica and other regions. He serves as an advisor to tech companies and is Co-Director of NCC GLOBAL SERVICES S.A. in Panama.
He is also authorized as a Notary Public.
