Alberto Quesada Monge joined the Costa Rican Bar Association in 1969 upon obtaining a Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica, and currently has over 50 years of continuous and uninterrupted professional practice as an elite member of the distinguished Bar Association.
He is an outstanding professional in the areas of Administrative Law, Public Law and Administrative Procurement. He is also a founding partner of the NCC Parajeles firm.
He has participated as a lecturer in multiple international law seminars. As a result of his vast professional experience, he has had directly participated in the different stages of the process to update and modernize of Administrative Procurement in Costa Rica.
In October 2016, the Costa Rican Bar Association awarded him with a special tribute due to his impeccable professional career and his excellent work as a pioneer of Administrative Procurement in Costa Rica.
Professional Practice
Mr. Quesada Monge began his professional practice in 1970 with the Legal Department of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute, where he held supervisory positions and served as Head of the Procurement Department and Deputy Head of the Legal Department until his retirement in 1996.
In 1996, Mr. Quesada Monge joined the firm NCC Abogados, today known as NCC Parajeles. As a member of the firm, he has served as a private advisor and consultant to domestic and foreign companies mainly in administrative procurement matters with an emphasis on energy, telecommunications, hydrocarbons.
He has participated with renowned legal teams in public bidding procedures of great importance for our country.
During his career, he has worked with transnational firms from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Spain, the United States, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, Switzerland and Venezuela, among others.
