Biography

Carlos Quesada, Esq. was licensed by the Costa Rican Bar Association as a practicing attorney in 1995 and has 25 years of continuous and uninterrupted professional practice.

He is a founding partner of NCC Parajeles.

He has excelled in the areas of Administrative Law, Public Law and Administrative Procurement. As a result of his vast experience, he has participated as a lawyer for multiple transnational and national companies in different projects in the areas of Telecommunications, Energy, Highways and Concessions, among others.

He is an educator for seminars on Administrative Procurement at the Costa Rican Bar Association and a panelist for various round tables organized by the Bar Association.

Since 2014, Mr. Quesada Araya has been an active member of the Administrative Procurement Commission of the Bar Association.

Professional Career
Mr. Quesada Araya began his professional practice in 1994 as a founding partner of the firm NCC Abogados, now NCC Parajeles.

He has served as a lawyer, advisor, director and legal consultant to domestic and foreign private companies, mainly in the Telecommunications, Energy and Public Works sectors.

He has held positions of Legal Director for various transnational companies.

As part of his outstanding professional career, Mr. Quesada has helped our clients to achieve projects of great relevance, scale and development for the country, such as geothermal, thermal, hydroelectric, electrification, telephony, fiber optic projects, among others.
He has provided consulting for firms in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Spain, the United States, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, Switzerland and Venezuela.

Current Areas of Practice
He is currently a joint leader of the litigation department at NCC Parajeles and concentrates on matters of Public Law.

Since 1994, it has successfully represented the interests of national and transnational companies in Concessions, Public Trusts, Interested Management Contracts, National and International Public, as well as active litigation in Administrative Litigation Processes and Civil Processes.

As an attorney, Carlos is always committed to excellence, thoroughness and is an innate leader to the different teams at NCC Parajeles.
